Bella at Magee Marsh, November 10, 2006.

To know Brie is to love Brie, she isn't focused on anything else but her next bird. At right, here she is sitting at attention waiting to be sent. Trainer Chet Welch works on marking and memory with her.

Brie sitting attentive on dog stand marking her next bird.
Brie trying to walk on water. Her intense desire is second to none! She is a great house pet, yet has a competitive streak in her. The sky is really the limit for Brie!

Training at the Challenge consisted of blinds like this one, with plenty of obstacles including points and peaks, suction, and drift for the dogs.

Black Swamp's Bring 'Em Back Brie at 15 weeks old, showing great drive retrieving dummies. She's had water introduction but has not retrieved in water. After a couple of puppy retrieves she was bold enough to make 30 yard retrieves with passion  and a lot of desire.

Drive and desire are important qualities in a retriever.
Here is Bella going hard for a mark.

Brie, left, at one year of age with her mom, Fly.

Bella and Brie take a break from training.
